My Favorite Traditional Game
My favorite traditional game is congklak. Congklak is a board game that involves counting and moving shells or seeds. It is played by two players who have their own side of the board. The board has 16 holes, 14 small ones and 2 big ones. The small holes are called houses and the big holes are called stores.
I like congklak because it is fun and challenging. It can improve my math and logic skills. It can also make me more strategic and competitive. I play congklak with my friends or family at home or at school. We have a wooden board and some shells that we use for congklak.
I also learn some history and culture from congklak. Congklak is an ancient game that originated from Africa or Asia. It is also known by different names in different regions, such as dakon, mancala, or oware. It is a part of the Indonesian heritage and identity.
That is my favorite traditional game. I love congklak because it makes me happy and smart. I hope I can play congklak more often.
